My son, Craig, and daughter-in-law, Karen, have two Shepherds. They are both eleven years old and weigh in at 135-140 pounds respectively. The purebred White German Shepherd is Max, (Maximillium), and the purebred Belgium Shepherd is Bear. They were rescued from the pound in Las Vegas eight years ago and are just great "Doggies" Very protective as Max is of Karen and Bear is of Craig.  The only exception is of their special friends and when family comes to visit they just seemed to know we were supposed to be there and Bear used to come up and "kiss" me on the cheek, time after time after time.
